Scientific Program
The Meeting will emphasize current developments on basic and applied enzymology, including:

agricultural & environmental applications
The Program will consist of plenary lectures, session lectures, oral communications and poster sessions.
Abstracts
All participants wishing to present oral and poster communications are asked to submit a one-page abstract before April 20th, 2005. Abstracts should be written in English. Abstracts received after deadline will not be included in the Book of Abstracts and may not be accepted. Acceptance of contributions will be notified no later than June 30th. An electronic copy of the Abstract should be sent as an attached word document to the following addresses:

Accommodation will be available in Varadero hotels, all of which are located near the beach and the Convention Center. University residences have also been arranged which is more moderately priced particularly for students.

Special efforts are being made to facilitate the participation of those from Latin American countries. A 30% of reduction in the registration feeds has been considered for Latin American delegates organized into groups or delegations of more than 10 persons. Participants are requested to include this information when filling the Registration Form.
The registration fee for full participants and students includes the transfer in/out to the airport, the participation in the scientific sessions, the book of abstracts, the Welcome Cocktail, the Closing Diner and a guided visit to Varadero Beach.
